C.H.A.N.G.E. FOUNDATION was established by myself, Mr. Donal Holloway. I have lived in the city of Compton all my life. Since May 2004 I began to focus on the fundamental of preserving life. In a city where the reputation is kill or be killed, my effort to stop the violence is endless. Bringing our youth out of the dark, out of the street and into positive alternatives is my mission.
I have put together several programs that will benefits our community. Such program are; mentoring, counseling, after school activities, leadership and motivational discussions.
Providing alternative to our youth will begin to change and redirect the future. I have direct communication with many gang leaders in efforts of peace treaties in the Compton community.
My presence in the community is felt, I attend City Counsel Meeting on a regular bases, school board meeting and attends church. My motive for constructing such a foundation is to give the youths a chance at life, to be able to walk with pride, to build self-esteem, to encourage all those felt left behind.
The struggle for peace is endless, the means of preserving life is with dedication. Destruction is man made, we can change!
